Crop PDF

Your file stays on your device - nothing is uploaded.

How it works

Crop PDF online free - trim the margins of every page with no sign up and no upload. Cut the black borders a scanner adds, the dead whitespace around a slide, or a header strip you do not want to print.

The result opens the same way everywhere: Chrome, Acrobat, Apple Preview and most other viewers show and print the smaller page. What you cut off is hidden rather than erased, so if that content has to disappear for good, print the cropped file to PDF once more. Cropping happens on your device and your PDF is never sent anywhere.

  1. Drop a PDF onto the page - a live preview of the first pages appears.

  2. Set how much to trim from the top, right, bottom and left in percent. Each side is capped below 50%, so the page can never collapse to nothing.

  3. Keep “Link sides” on to move all four margins together for an even trim, or turn it off to shave a single edge.

  4. Watch the preview: the highlighted area is what survives. The same margins are applied to every page in the document, not just the previewed ones.

  5. Press “Crop PDF” and download the trimmed file.
