Only Latin letters, digits and common punctuation are supported for now - the built-in font covers WinAnsi (Latin-1) only. Non-Latin scripts such as Cyrillic, Arabic or Hindi are refused before the watermark is added.

Where does the watermark appear?

On every page of the document. Diagonal runs the text from corner to corner; horizontal lays it across the centre of the page, on top of the content.
