How it works

Split PDF cuts one document into several separate files: pull a chapter out of a report, break a long scan into one file per invoice, or save every page on its own. Pages are copied exactly, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. Everything happens locally in your browser — the file is never uploaded, so there is no server limit on size or page count, only your device memory.

  1. Drop a PDF onto the page. The page count is read locally, right on your device.
  2. Pick a mode. “Custom ranges” lets you type ranges separated by commas, like 1-3, 5, 8-10 — each range becomes its own PDF. “Every N pages” cuts fixed-size chunks; enter 1 to save every page as a separate file.
  3. Look at the preview below: the first 30 pages are laid out with markers showing which part each page ends up in, so you can catch an off-by-one range before splitting.
  4. Press “Split PDF”, then download the parts one at a time or grab them all at once.
